Under the name Scootparts.nl, BicatoXL has been selling scooter and moped parts online since 1999 and has now become the online specialist in the industry. After having used various webshop packages (Epages, EC Manager), they are now switching to the open source package Magento. Epartment will migrate all product data from the different BicatoXL shops to the new web store platform and link it to SAP.
A completely new look BicatoXL is in need of a completely new design after a number of years. Not only the look & feel of the various labels such as scootparts.nl and fietsonderdelenxl.nl will be refreshed by Epartment, but the website and brand name BicatoXL will play a bigger role in the entire online experience. Epartment has designed a system that allows orders to be placed from different shops with one shared shopping cart and checkout. All niche shops will always check out via the BicatoXL checkout.

SAP integration In collaboration with SAP Gold partner Agion, BicatoXL is linked to SAP Business One. All orders are automatically synchronized with the back office, making retyping of order and product information a thing of the past. BicatoXL now always has up-to-date data on all its orders. By connecting with the systems of various suppliers of BicatoXL, there is always up-to-date stock information about the products and orders in the different shops.
Filtering & navigating Due to the large product offering, it is crucial that visitors can quickly and clearly find and order the desired product. In addition to the advanced and SEO-driven search and filtering system, Epartment has also developed a custom 'Fits' parts search engine. This allows visitors to quickly find parts based on the brand and model provided of a specific bicycle or moped/scooter.
