As the first and only in the market Epartment has Epartment launched a Magento plugin for iDIN! We developed this new extension commissioned by identity provider CM. With this, customers of Magento shops can identify themselves via iDIN, the new identification service from the Dutch banks. The iDIN Magento plugin from Epartment is available for free download in the Magento Market Place.
About iDIN
Through iDIN, a so-called third party login, customers can easily register and log in to your webshop, but also verify their personal data or age. iDIN provides webshop visitors extra convenience and gives webshops certainty about the identity of consumers. Through the trusted and secure login method of their own bank, visitors provide their personal information. Especially for webshops that offer age-restricted content, this identification method is particularly interesting. iDIN also offers the possibility to introduce new online services.

Supplier Selection
CM specializes in mobile messaging, authentication & payment services for businesses and participates within iDIN as an official identity provider. After a supplier selection, CM chose Epartment to develop the iDIN Magento plugin.

Official iDIN Magento Plugin
Together with CM, Epartment has published this plugin for iDIN as an official Magento extension. The extension is a first in the Netherlands and is officially approved by Magento, which rigorously assesses each extension on the quality and cleanliness of the code. The plugin is available for free download in the Magento Market Place.
Try iDIN yourself
Starting earlier this year, the first pilots have already been running and have proven successful. From April 2017, iDIN goes live.
