How does it work, owning a product!?

The biggest difference you make is by being eager to ask questions, so you can learn to understand. As a P.O. at Epa, you are responsible for products/customers. Your goal is to make that product as good as possible, and that requires communication. You learn how the customer wants to grow and can align their vision with the technical possibilities of our development team. Based on input from your stakeholders, you determine the development priorities, so your scrum team delivers real quality.
You act as a bridge between techies and non-technical people, and describe the steps forward in Jira. Your vision and overview guide the project to a successful product.

Who is Epartment?

Epartment has been working in Ecommerce for over 10 years. We build cool webshops for fun clients and integrate these with ERP and PIM systems. Epartment has frequent and open contact with clients, allowing us to have a professional yet informal working relationship. It's great when you can just say it like it is. Our team is quite technical, and that's why we see ourselves as Magento experts. We build webshops in Magento 2 and increasingly do custom work in Laravel and VueJS. We are growing and tackling more complex projects because of that. Your skills are needed to do this in a structured way.

Tasks

• You are the first point of contact for questions from clients and your development team

• Communicate with clients about opportunities for great developments

• You keep the Jira backlog of tasks according to the established priorities

• Get the right developers from the team onboard

• Double-check if information is genuinely well described and understood

• Testing tasks to truly know the status of your product from top to bottom

• Provide planning for your team, so the right vision is realized
