Google announced yesterday that they are going to improve the search for images via the search engine to make searching much faster and also much more reliable. In the future, users will be able to see images and information about these images at the same time while they are searching for photos, illustrations, and other graphics.
The product manager of Google Images, Hongyi Li, stated in a blog that they have used feedback from users and webmasters to revamp Google Images, so that a better search experience can be offered to every user of the search engine in the future. When a user wants to know more about a certain image, they should be able to find all the related information at once. In addition to directly displaying the associated information, a number of other things will also change. Users will no longer be redirected to the original page, unless they ask for it. Besides all the information that was normally already included, the search engine will show even more information, such as the title of the page, the domain name where the image comes from, and the size of the image. The domain name will be clickable in the future, and there will be a button to visit the original page. Source: Dutchcowboys.nl
