Magnetic Nail Design is a leading wholesale supplier in the nail industry. The company provides high-quality products to nail salons, freelancers, and professionals worldwide. Their range includes gels, acrylic systems, tools, and accessories of top quality. Additionally, the Magnetic Nail Academy offers practical training and courses. Through this combination of products and knowledge, MND has evolved into a brand that not only supplies but also educates and inspires.

Challenge
The existing webshop of MND was technically and visually outdated. There was no mobile experience that fit the usage of their customers. Moreover, they wanted to connect their livestream events (such as Nail Talk Live) to the ordering process. There was also a lack of direct integration with their ERP system (SAP Business One), which led to duplicate work.

Epartment developed a Magento 2 webshop with a Hyvä frontend for optimal speed and search engine friendliness. In addition, we built a hybrid app for iOS and Android with barcode scanning and push notifications. The Conneqt connection provides real-time integration with SAP Business One. Customers can now easily order mobile, directly scan products, and stay engaged via smart notifications.

Since the launch, the number of repeat orders has significantly increased. The app is actively used by salons and stylists, who appreciate the convenience of mobile ordering and scanning. Live events now provide direct interaction with the webshop, which increases conversion. The next step is to expand customer loyalty with a loyalty program.

Conneqt connection with SAP Business One
Thanks to the standardized connection via Conneqt, product data, customer information, orders, and inventory are synchronized in real-time between the Magento webshop and SAP. As a result, processes are streamlined, the error margin has been drastically reduced, and MND has complete control over the order flow — without manual management.
