Where are the B2B features located in Magento?
By default, Magento Open Source has few B2B features. Adobe Commerce has a B2B module with company accounts, shared catalogs, quotes, and order lists. On Open Source, you supplement that with modules or a complete B2B suite.
For Hyvä, that means: every B2B module needs a frontend that works on Hyvä. That is where the work lies.
Customer-specific pricing
Wholesalers work with customer-specific pricing agreements, tiered pricing, and contract prices. These usually come from the ERP. In Magento, you can synchronize them in advance or retrieve them live during ordering. Which approach fits depends on how often prices change and how many customers you have. Roles and permissions
With a B2B customer, multiple people often order under one account. The buyer places the order, the technician only prepares a shopping cart, and the manager approves orders above a certain amount. You manage such roles, budgets, and approval flows with a B2B module. On Hyvä, the user sees the same features in a faster interface.
Quick order
B2B customers know what they want. They order by SKU, upload a CSV, or repeat a previous order. These features in particular benefit from Hyvä's lightweight frontend: an order list with a hundred lines responds immediately.
